A wife faces the death of her husband. She had brought him to the army's medical unit, hopeful he could be saved.

Medyca, Poland. A queue of vehicles about 12km (7 mile) waits to cross the border from Poland into Ukraine. Depending on border control it can take 12-24 hours.
Traditional Ukrainian Wedding During War
A couple is wed in a traditional Ukrainian church wedding.
Signs of Freedom
A wall in a popular restaurant and bar in Lviv. Flags and signs of solidarity are everywhere in Ukraine, on streets, in restaurants, in homes.

Ruslan, a soldier on leave with his girlfriend Vika who has been waiting.
Tank Hiding In The Trees
A company of tanks hide in the treeline in Bakhmut. Much of Donetsk Oblast are hectors of pancake flat farmland. Tanks and soldiers often seek cover in the forests.
Ukrainian Gothic
A wall in a popular restaurant and bar in Lviv. All over Ukraine are signs of commonality with the United States and the West. Ukrainians understand what freedom is.

Thanks for bringing the struggles & beauty of Ukrainian Humanity to the World💙 The movie was very up front w/reality of the struggles & pain Ukraines' citizens have to endure & do so w/dignity & respect for all living beings/nature. This movie has changed so much for me! I was the only one in my family and my friends who understood already since 2014 that this war was coming. I have been for Ukraine since then…. When your movie came I gathered all my family and friends and forced them to watch and now almost all are supporting in one way or another. I have seen your movie more then I can remember 😊 thank you 🙏 you make a big difference in my life and for Ukraine big hugs from Sweden and me.
